Neuromuscular Emergencies 

While Myasthenia Gravis and Guillain-Barre Syndrome are the most common acute neuromuscular disorders presenting to a Neuro ICU, the neurointensivist must be able to uncover atypical etiologies that may mimic one of these disorders so that appropriate therapies and interventions can be quickly pursued.
